The Museum of Florida History has over 45,000 artifacts in its exhibit. With information from the prehistoric times to when Florida was first inhabited to a whole section on the World Wars you will find yourself lost in Florida's history! As a student of The Florida State University this is how it worked for me: First I learned about an interesting fact or story, then that story played out in my mind, before I knew it hours past and I did not even know it. Visiting the museum was a great experience and I know it will be the same for anyone else who visits the museum and actually wants to learn.
The Museum hours is as follows:

The Museum is only getting bigger! On march 3rd, 2013 the Museum of Florida History opened up a permanent part of the exhibit! This new section highlights the cultures of some of the indians that lived in Florida over the course of 500 years. This is truly amazing how a museum with over 45,000 thousand artifacts and that open over 30 years ago is still changing and becoming a better overall place to visit.
